🛠️ What You’ll Do
As a Project Owner at DataSentics, you'll lead data and AI transformation projects for industry leaders across Europe — from discovery and scoping, through solution shaping, to delivery and go-live. You'll act as the bridge between the client, the delivery team, and the business, making sure commitments made during scoping stay realistic and aligned with what gets built. We aim for real impact: supporting our clients through their entire data journey, end to end, with solutions they can actually put to use.
Together with you, we want to utilize generative AI models to accelerate migrations of old-school DWHs like SAP BW, Oracle or Teradata into modern cloud-first data platforms like Databricks or Google BigQuery.
🤖 Our Projects & Technology Stack
- We work on real-world challenges across diverse industries like banking, insurance, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and e-commerce, using a wide range of customer data sources, including SAP ERP data, traditional warehouses and other application data.
- Tools/tech we use: Databricks, Python, Power BI, dbt, SQL. We deploy on Azure, Google Cloud Platform and AWS. As a partner of Databricks and all major hyperscalers, we get early access and deep support on the platforms we build on. We build our own LLM and agentic-powered tools to accelerate our work.
- How we work: Small, focused teams (2–5 people), agile workflows, and strong collaboration between engineers, analysts, scientists, and PMs.
- Remote-first culture: Work where you're the most productive, at home, in the office, or a mix of both. We're remote-first, with optional office spaces in Prague (near Muzeum metro) and Brno (ImpactHub) available whenever you need them.
- Flexible working: Full-time or Part-time (starting at 30 hours/week).
🧩 You're a Good Fit If You Have
- A background in new business development, consulting, pre-sales or client-facing delivery for data platforms, analytics, cloud or broader tech transformation work.
- Solid working knowledge Databricks — you get the common use cases, the architecture logic, and why they matter to the business.
- Hands-on exposure to platform modernization or migration efforts — legacy DWH migrations, lakehouse or cloud moves.
- Ability to talk to both business and technical people, and turning what a client needs into a clear plan for how to build it.
- Track record putting together proposals, running workshops, or steering tricky client conversations.
What We Are Also Looking For
- Previous hands-on experience working with SAP BW data is an advantage.
- Comfort working with SQL; basic Python is a plus.
- Interest in optimizing large data pipelines.
- A collaborative mindset and a desire to learn from and contribute to a skilled team.
