We are looking for an experienced IT Solution Designer to join our team and help translate business requirements into technical solution designs.
This role combines two main areas of responsibility:
- Functional analysis and design of existing application portfolio (primarily within CRM systems)
- Technical design of new applications
The exact focus may vary depending on current priorities and needs of individual teams.
The role covers end-to-end delivery for development teams – from process design and functional analysis through interface and integration architecture design to complete technical documentation.
What you will work on
Functional Design (existing systems)
You will be involved in standard business deliveries within the telco portfolio, focusing on functional analysis, process design, and collaboration with business stakeholders.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional designs
- Model processes (UML/BPMN) using tools such as Enterprise Architect (EA)
- Design process changes and application functionality
- Perform data analysis and define data sources
- Work with existing integration interfaces (SOAP, REST) and incorporate them into proposed solutions
Technical Design (new systems)
You will design new applications and integration solutions with a strong focus on system design and integration architecture.
- Design architecture of new applications and their integration into the existing ecosystem
- Define REST APIs end-to-end (endpoints, data models, contracts)
- Design synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns and evaluate their suitability
- Design API security (authentication, authorization, encryption)
- Perform data mapping and transformation between systems (JSON/XML)
- Create detailed technical documentation (HLD/LLD)
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT analysis, solution design, or integration architecture
- Experience with both functional and technical system design
- Hands-on experience with Enterprise Architect or similar modeling tools (UML diagrams)
- Knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs – ability to read and design them
- Understanding of integration patterns and system communication principles (synchronous and asynchronous)
- Experience working with databases and basic knowledge of SQL for analytical purposes
- Experience creating functional, system, and technical documentation
- Advanced knowledge of Git
- Understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)
- English at an intermediate level or higher
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team, with a proactive mindset
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
AI / GenAI
- Awareness of AI / Generative AI use cases in enterprise environments
- Basic understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Ability to design integration of AI services into existing architectures
- Understanding of security, data governance, and compliance aspects in AI solutions
Nice to have
- Experience in the telecommunications domain
- Knowledge of API security standards (OAuth 2.0, API keys, TLS)
- Familiarity with cloud-native technologies and modern development approaches (microservices, containerization, integration platforms)
- Advanced Git skills (branching strategies, code reviews, repository management)
