About the role
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer (Backend) to join our international Automation Team and help enhance our Test Automation Framework. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of infrastructure, automation, and system performance in a dynamic environment while collaborating with motivated colleagues across the EU.
You will be working with cutting-edge technologies, driving automation, and enabling high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions that power our testing infrastructure for services and devices.
Key responsibilities
Operation & Development
- Manage, maintain, and operate the infrastructure to support automated testing of services and devices.
- Develop software and services for our test automation framework, automating manual workflows across various devices and platforms.
- Automate and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and scalability.
- Implement APIs to enable partner systems to interact with the automation platform.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions.
DevOps & Collaboration
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve deployment processes and system reliability.
- Participate in our DevOps team to continuously enhance the test automation platform.
- Ensure security best practices and compliance with the Privacy and Security Assessment (PSA) process.
- Support quality assurance projects across the EU in an international team setup.
Agile & Continuous Improvement
- Work in an agile environment (Kanban/Scrum), applying CI/CD principles and DevOps best practices.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of existing software for better efficiency and reliability.
Required skills & experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3–5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Flux, etc.).
- Strong proficiency in Bash, Python, Go, or similar languages.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.) and containerization/orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
- Familiarity with GitOps principles and tools (FluxCD).
- Knowledge of microservices, service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd), and monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenSearch, Datadog).
- Understanding of security best practices in cloud and DevOps environments.
- Preferable: experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native architectures.
