We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be working in a cutting-edge 5G Standalone (SA) Roaming environment. Your responsibilities will span from 5G SA Roaming Signaling to Kubernetes (K8s) cloud expertise. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the end-to-end (E2E) service delivery, from customer interaction to provisioning and operations.
What you will do
- Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes cloud infrastructures to support 5G SA Roaming services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of 5G SA Roaming signaling.
- Engage with customers to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Participate in on-call duties to provide 24/7 support for critical issues.
Required knowledge and skills
You have a degree in engineering or comparable vocational training with a corresponding field of study or subject-specific additional training or several years of professional experience in the field Voice and Signaling technology.
Furthermore, you are characterized by detailed company-specific knowledge or exceptional expert knowledge and skills:
- Extensive experience with Kubernetes cloud infrastructures, including deployment, scaling, and management.
- Proficiency in the DevOps tool landscape, including CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and monitoring solutions.
- Strong self-motivation and the ability to identify and resolve issues independently.
- A customer-first mindset, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and support.
- Willingness to participate in on-call duties and provide after-hours support as needed.
- Required language skills: English
- Very strong English reading/writing/conversation skills

- Scripting and automation skills
- German language skills, English is must, but German and any other foreign language a strong plus
