🟠 What You’ll Do
As a Data Consultant at DataSentics, you’ll analyze and migrate data at scale, design data models, transform and optimize data for reporting and self-service analytics, and collaborate on building scalable cloud platforms.
You will act as the bridge between raw data and strategic decision-making. Together with you, we want to utilize generative AI models to accelerate migrations of old-school DWHs like SAP BW, Oracle or Teradata into modern cloud-first data platforms like Databricks or Google BigQuery.
🟠 Our Projects & Technology Stack
- We work on real-world challenges across diverse industries like banking, insurance, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and e-commerce, using a wide range of customer data sources, including SAP ERP data, traditional warehouses and other application data.
- Tools/tech we use: Databricks, Python, Power BI, dbt, SQL. We deploy on Azure, Google Cloud Platform and sometimes AWS
- How we work: Small, focused teams (2–5 people), agile workflows, and strong collaboration between engineers, analysts, scientists, and PMs
- Remote-first culture: Work where you're the most productive, at home, in the office, or a mix of both. We're remote-first, with optional office spaces in Prague (near Muzeum metro) and Brno (ImpactHub) available whenever you need them
- Flexible working: Full-time or Part-time (starting at 30 hours/week)
🟠 Your skills
- Proficiency in SQL
- Data modeling expertise
- Experience with preparing data for business intelligence or advanced data analytics
🟠 What we are also looking for
- At least basic Python skills are an advantage
- Experience working with cloud platforms (Databricks, Azure, AWS or GCP)
- Previous hands-on experience working with SAP BW data is an advantage
- Experience with at least one modern BI tool (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.) is an advantage
- Interest in optimizing large data for pipelines
- A collaborative mindset and a desire to learn from and contribute to a skilled team
