Help us build and automate a cloud-based production platform for cyber defense projects in an international security environment.

Do you have experience with cloud platforms, automation and monitoring? The international Cyber Defense Center of Deutsche Telekom is looking for a skilled engineer to develop and maintain a cloud-based production platform for various cyber defense projects. In this role, you will automate operational tasks, support internal customer projects and collaborate with other IT security teams. If you have a strong technical background in Linux, infrastructure as code, containerization, cloud environments and observability tools, we’d love to hear from you!

What you will do

  • Design, develop, and maintain a cloud-based, multi-tenant production platform for an international Cyber Defense Center
  • Facilitate onboarding and provide ongoing support for internal customer projects
  • Automate recurring operational tasks and streamline workflows to enhance efficiency
  • Collaborate closely with IT security teams, including SOC, CERT and governance

Job Requirements

  • Strong understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with cloud environments; Google Cloud Platform is a plus
  • Proficiency in automation tools such as Ansible
  • Knowledge of observability and monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Grafana preferred)
  • Experience with Linux operating systems (Ubuntu/Debian preferred)
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of Czech is a plus

Nice to have experience

  • Identity management and Single Sign-On solutions (OIDC, SAML, Keycloak)
  • Computer networking and fundamental network protocols
  • Git and CI/CD pipelines
  • Infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, especially Terraform
  • Programming languages such as Python, Bash, or Go
  • Databases, including SQL, Elasticsearch, and Redis
