We're a Czech company leading in solar energy in Europe and Latin America. Our power plants operate successfully in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Cyprus, Romania, and Chile. We are headquartered in Prague and Santiago, but our company is rapidly expanding, with employees in Greece, France, Serbia, Spain, Romania, and Colombia.

We seek a Head of Project Finance & M&A to lead our European finance and M&A operations. This role, based in Prague, covers five European countries and involves securing financing, managing M&A transactions, and engaging with key stakeholders.

What will you do?

  • Lead and manage the European Project Finance and M&A function based in Prague and covering 5 European countries.
  • Lead the Project Finance function, identifying, engaging and negotiating with banks and other financial institutions to secure financing and project finance for the projects and transactions.
  • Identify and engage with local and international debt and capital providers (construction finance, short term debt lenders, tax equity, etc.) and other investors to secure competitive sources of finance.
  • Develop and maintain financial models for solar and BESS projects.
  • Manage M&A processes, due diligence, and negotiations.
  • Prepare and review transaction documents.
  • Collaborate with internal and external advisors.

Your qualifications & experience:

  • Degree in Finance, Engineering, or Economics.
  • 5+ years’ experience in Project Finance, Infrastructure Finance, or M&A.
  • Strong financial modeling and valuation skills.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English.
